Owen Michael was born on the 6th of May 2009 at 29 weeks gestation. He was born with gastroschisis, meaning he had major surgery hours after he was born. He put up a good fight for 3 days but fell asleep for good in his mummys arms on the 9th May 2009. He was born in The Countess of Chester and later transferred to the neo-natal unit at St Marys Childrens Hospital in Manchester. I will never ever be able to thank the staff at both these hospitals enough, they gave me three precious days with my son that I will never forget and will forever treasure. He is now the brightest star in the sky and will shine forever for his mummy and new little brother, Max :) he is looking after his nanny and grandad, aunty katie, uncle jack and uncle sam aswell, who all miss him so so much.
